I've had and continue to have an amazing career. I stopped working full time as a professor and am now traveling when I can, and unchecking many of those boxes I spent my life checking. It isn't easy to do, but letting go of what everyone told me I should do, say, and think is intellectually liberating. Doing those things helped me to succeed in my career. Now it's time to focus more on life.
